I am a Scottish Italian living as an Australian in the Melbourne area.
Graduating from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester England  with a BA Mus GRNCM I have had an extensive career spanning continents as an opera singer. I have been fortunate enough to have  worked as  a  freelance singer with some of the  finest orchestras and conductors in the worlds best opera houses. I have made recordings for radio and television as well as CD and DVD for commercial release.
My voice is best suited to the Italian repertoire of Verdi and Puccini. I have a natural 'lyrico spinto' voice with reliable high notes and a bright dramatic timbre.  My voice has lots of squillo.  As well as Opera, I have performed extensively in oratorio and in concert recital. I have sung much musical theatre and enjoy the challenge of working in a new genre of music.
As a performer I have toured the UK extensively as part of my tenor group and opera quartet performing to audiences in theatres from major cities to remote villages.
I have  worked as a composer, arranger and vocal / choral conductor for numerous  choirs throughout my career.
As a teacher and vocal coach I have found myself  in demand for my technical knowledge and ability to communicate technique with my students. In my performing and my teaching I hope I demonstrate my passion for the art of singing. It has been said that my teaching style  is a new fresh approach to bel canto technique.
In my capacity as a professional singer I believe it is important to work as a mentor with young singers entering the profession.

As a teacher I have worked for over 20 years with vocal students of all ages and abilities. I have been fortunate enough to have been musical director of many choirs throughout my career and enjoy conducting very much.

For the past 25 years, I've refined my technique and musicianship through performance and teaching. I have gained a broad set of skills which place me in a good position both as performer and mentor.

Performing,Teaching, Conducting, Composing, Arranging, Recording, Producing are amongst my skill set. 

As well as being a professional singer,  I play the piano, percussion, pipe band snare drum and drum kit.    

Lessons can be booked in 10 week blocks.  Please note all lessons fees are inclusive of GST.

Tier 2: Now your married you are going to need some music and lights at the function. We offer a set of Live music and full light show from internationally renowned singer John Carlo Bellotti. We will help you choose your first dance by offering suggestions and then will continue with a blistering set of Classic Pop, Rock, Ballad, Country, Blues and Motown from the 60's, 70's ,80's and 90's which will suit your whole guest list and be assured to get your party dancing.

Tier 3: We will continue the evening after the Live music has finished to conclude your special day with a disco combined with a stunning light show with special effects.

As well as Weddings, Recitals, Operas and ALL corporate events,  I entertain at Aged Care Facilities. I have an extensive programme of over 800 songs from all different styles of music and can even offer "themed programmes" from Rock n' Roll to Jazz Standards to Musical Theatre and much, much more. 

On an average year I will perform  approximately 200 days to the Aged Care Facilities sector. I work with over 35 facilities  around Victoria, varying from large global players to individual boutique residences, I can accommodate everyone.
